Qualification
Sven graduated from University of Rostock in Germany and he is a chartered engineer. Also, Sven graduated from European Business School Oestrich Winkel in Germany, specializing in real-estate management.
Experience
Sven joined KPMG in 1997. Prior to this, he gained extensive experience as a leading project engineer in the construction industry for five years. With the beginning of 2009 he heads the real estate valuation group in Corporate Finance Russia and CIS.
Sven assists clients in making informed decisions and achieving optimum outcomes in relation to property. He delivers expert advice on corporate real estate planning, including strategic property portfolio reviews, feasibility analysis, property developments and divestments.
In the last few month he has worked with numerous Russian developers and asset holding companies as well as international investors assisting in the area of real estate valuation services.
Recently he was assigned to:
Estimation of the fair market value of projects for financial statements (IFRS) of development companies;
Impairment review of development projects;
Valuation of real estate portfolios for asset holding companies;
Investment analysis for objects in the travel and leisure sector.
