Юрист и девелопер. Камерон Сойер имеет степень бакалавра наук с отличием Вандербильтского Университета (Vanderbilt University) и степень доктора юриспруденции Мичиганского Университета (University of Michigan) в Анн-Арбор, США. Он преподавал и занимался исследовательской работой на юридическом факультете Университета Людвигс-Максимилиан в Мюнхене, Германия.
Г-н К. Сойер, помимо родного английского, свободно говорит на немецком и русском языках.
Камерон Сойер выступал, а также был председателем на многих международных конференциях. Он консультирует по вопросам финансирования объектов недвижимости на российском рынке, дает интервью газетам "Экономист", "Экономика и жизнь", "Коммерсант", Ведомости и другим деловым изданиям. Начиная с 1995 г., каждый год г-н К. Сойер присутствовал в качестве гостя и читал лекции по вопросам финансирования объектов недвижимости в Гарвардской Бизнес школе на курсах профессоров Джона Вогеля, Билла Пурву, Артура Зегеля и Ника Ретсиниса.
В 1993 г. г-н К. Сойер совместно с Партнерами создал компанию GVA Sawyer и работал в качестве Президента компании с 1993 по 2007 гг.
Начиная с 2007 г., г-н Сойер является Председателем совета директоров компании. До образования компании GVA Sawyer г-н К. Сойер был заместителем Генерального директора совместного предприятия «Перестройка» - одной из первых девелоперских компаний по коммерческой недвижимости в России.
С 2007 по 2010 гг. г-н К. Сойер являлся генеральным директором Rutley Russia Property Asset Managers, инвестиционного фонда, учрежденного в качестве совместного предприятия компаниями GVA Sawyer, Knight Frank (Лондон), и Knight Frank (Москва).
С 2010 г. компания GVA Sawyer под руководством Камерона Сойера занимается реализацией нескольких крупных проектов в области девелопмента:

Mr. Sawyer holds the Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA. Mr. Sawyer was a Deutsche Akademischer Austauschdienst Fellow on the Faculty of Law at the Ludwigs-Maximillians-Universitat in Munich, Germany.
Mr. Sawyer speaks German and Russian in addition to his native English.
Mr. Sawyer is a popular speaker, writer and consultant on the subject of Russian real estate, and has spoken at, and chaired a number of international conferences. Mr. Sawyer`s articles have appeared in the Estates News, Moscow Times, Moscow Tribune and others. Interviews with Mr. Sawyer have appeared in The Economist, Ekonomika i Zhizn`, Kommersant, etc. Mr. Sawyer has been appearing every year since 1995 as a guest speaker in classes in Real Estate Finance of Professors John Vogel, Bill Poorvu, Arthur Segel, and Nick Retsynis at Harvard Business School.
Mr. Sawyer together with his partners formed GVA Sawyer in 1993 and served as the company’s President from 1993 to 2007. Since 2007, Mr. Sawyer has served as Chairman of the Board of the Company.
Prior to the organization of GVA Sawyer, Mr. Sawyer was Deputy General Director of the Joint Venture “Perestroika”, the first commercial real estate development company in the Soviet Union and Russia.
From 2007-2010, Mr. Sawyer was the CEO of Rutley Russia Property Asset Managers, an investment fund manager formed as a joint venture between GVA Sawyer, Knight Frank (London), and Knight Frank (Moscow).
In 2010, GVA Sawyer company under the direction of Cameron Sawyer engaged in implementation of a few large development projects. GVA Sawyer acted as a local developer of the Fashion House Outlet Centre (Moscow Region) and is one of the shareholders in the project. The gross area amounts to 39 Thousand sq. m.
Besides this, GVA Sawyer began development of a large mixed-use project with the territory with the area of 16 ha and gross building area of more than 200,000m2 to be constructed over several phases – Yenisei Park City in Krasnoyarsk. GVA Sawyer is an investor, and also the developer of this project.
Besides these projects, GVA Sawyer continues with implementation of the project Kaluga Embankment Hotel Complex in the city of Kaluga. The gross area of the complex is about 18 Thousand sq. m. The hotel operator is Accor Group. The complex will include an Accor IBIS Hotel 3*** with 150 guest rooms and an Accor Adagio Apart-Hotel with 95 apartments. GVA Sawyer is the lead developer of the project.
