Lee Timmins

Senior Managing Director, Co-CEO, Hines Eurasia

Mr. Timmins joined Hines in 1988. He currently serves as country manager for Hines’ Russian operations and as co-CEO of Hines Eurasia. At the end of 2014, Mr. Timmins will succeed Staman Ogilvie as CEO of Hines Eurasia, and he will serve on the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Timmins worked for a number of years in the southwest United States developing office and mixed-use projects including the oversight of developments in the Austin, Albuquerque and Phoenix markets. In 1993, he relocated to Moscow and was responsible for Hines’ first joint venture in Eastern Europe. Since 1993, he has developed, acquired and managed more than $2.5 billion of real estate, including projects such as the 50,000-square-meter Ducat Place III office development, the acquisition of Metropolis super-regional mall in Moscow, the development of the 150,000-square-meter Logopark warehouse project, and the development of the 84,000-square-meter Belaya Dacha Park mixed-use project. Mr. Timmins also directed the deal structuring and development of Hines’ 45,000-square-meter Pokrovsky Hills residential community and the Anglo-American School in Moscow. In recent years Mr. Timmins has been instrumental in establishing development and acquisition funds totaling $1.1 billion of capital including the Hines Russia & Poland Fund and the HC Russia Long Term Hold Fund. Mr. Timmins received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984, and a Master of Business Administration from the Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University in 1987.
